Better Cotton Initiative (BCI): The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is an organization that focuses on improving global cotton farming practices. The cotton we use is sourced through BCI, which operates with a system of Mass Balance. This means that while not all the cotton fibers used in a specific product might be from sustainable sources, the overall impact is balanced out by supporting sustainable practices.
Organic Cotton: The organic cotton used in our products is grown without the use of fossil fuel-derived pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Organic cotton farming techniques prioritize soil health, natural habitat preservation, and efficient water usage.
Recycled Cotton: More than 2 tons of cotton are recycled each year for our products. This approach reduces the demand for new cotton production and minimizes waste.
Farmers' Training and Sustainable Practices: BCI provides training to cotton farmers to encourage sustainable farming practices. This includes efficient water usage, soil health management, reduction of harmful chemical usage, and the protection of workers' rights and well-being.
